I have just cried my eyes out for the last half an hour reading this amazing birth story from Kelle Hampton all about her experience of having a Downs Syndrome child. It’s something that goes through every mothers mind, and I’ve always wondered how I would react - I believe this is the closest - pain before pure love. Kelle is truly inspiring with her honesty. A must read.

Omg bawling my eyes out after reading this story… Beautiful.

I actually found this about two weeks ago, read her story… I cried at the raw, real emotion that she expressed.. Beautiful soul..

Reblogged a long time ago, if you haven’t seen this then you need to look at it now.

I definitely cried. The thing is… this could be our reality. We refused the testing for it, D.S. is in our family line. I admire this woman’s strength and courage. At least I’m prepared for this… She wasn’t. And yet, she still accepted her child with amazing love, when so many others couldn’t do the same for their own.

Beautiful touching story. All babies are so utterly precious, their souls touch ours. Our eternal souls go beyond disability. This baby is sooo beautiful!
