Exactly why I dread math... and why I'm scared of...
School: 2+2=4
Homework: 2+4+2=8
Exam: Iqbal has 4 apples, his train is 7 minutes early, calculate the mass of the sun.
At work on a Sunday, waiting for videos to render
My computer feels awfully slow lately. It shouldn’t take this long to encode some audio files…. on the other hand, it gives me an excuse to catch up on Tumblr and test out my birth playlist.
I’m really happy with it so far. :) I can see myself in labour and getting ready around the house for Noah’s birth to this soundtrack.
I think people who vibrate at the same frequency, vibrate toward each other....

Made in Italy: Courageous beauty: Brittany Gibbons... →
made-in-italy:
This got me choked up. Obviously struck a chord. Beautiful.
tedx:
Brittany Gibbons wants us to drastically change the way we think about women’s bodies. Stripping down to her bathing suit onstage, she makes a passionate call for women of all body types to find confidence in each other.
Anonymous asked: The man who loves you, will look at you with eye's full of memories of experiences shared. A women body is beautiful before, during and when nurturing and raising your child. I can see you skating with a big wheel stroller around Stanley park. None of us can go back only be content with decisions well made that build a good future

Random Vancouver fact of the Day
September 25, 1911
The name of Park Drive in East End Vancouver—so named because it ended at the time at Clark Park—is changed to Commercial Drive. The name was changed thanks to real estate promoters who wanted to bring into prominence what they predicted would be a great commercial thoroughfare.

Luludemon: Am I really an athlete? →
Luludemon inspires me in so many ways. Not only is she is an amazing jammer, she is so incredibly kind and genuine. I like that she can be sweet self, and also ruthless on the track.

I will teach my children to accept nothing less... →
I want my daughter to know that being disrespected is NEVER acceptable. I want my daughter to know that if someone likes her and respects her, much less LOVES her, they don’t hurt her and they don’t put her down.

I still am in a bit of a daze today.
Yesterday was incredible beyond my wildest dreams; these are the people I want in my life for a long time. There were a few notable people whose other responsibilities kept them from being with us, but other than that, our home has never been filled with so much love and so many good people. From food to presents for Noah and best of, big dreams and well...

Books I desperately want for Noah
My love for reading started at an early age. With the vivid memory of my father’s books scattered all through the house, family visits to the library and the joy that the latest Scholastic catalogues brought me, I can’t help wanting beautifully drawn , thoughtful and imaginative stories for my baby.
So this is as much a wish list, as much as a “note to self.” Enjoy.
